April 3, 2012

PITTSBURGH (PRWEB)–Metis Secure Solutions, the leader in precision emergency notification systems (ENS), has partnered with Starfire Automatic Gates & Security, a leading integrator of security, fire and access systems, to sell and service Metis Secure emergency notification systems in the Southeastern region. Adding the Metis Secure system will enable Starfire to offer a superior emergency notification solution to its customer base. According to Mark Hofmann, VP of Operations at Starfire, emergency notification is an emerging growth market and Metis Secure has the premier system in the market.

"I was thrilled to learn about the level of smarts in this system, the incredible redundancy and the software integration platform - the overall intelligence and reliability of the Metis Secure system stands alone," said Hofmann. "This is the kind of system we can offer our customers with pride and confidence knowing we are bringing them a best practices solution. " Starfire, based in Jackson, GA (outside of Atlanta), provides full service security, fire and access control to commercial, corporate and residential customers in the Metro Atlanta and surrounding area.

The Metis Secure system is an integrated hardware and software solution that combines a comprehensive Command Center software platform, rapid two-way MS-5100 (indoor) and MS-6100 (outdoor) alerting devices and triple-redundant communication networks to ensure security personnel can communicate to anyone or everyone, in seconds not minutes.

According to Hofmann, Metis Secure's ability to target audible voice announcements into specific locations is of great value to Starfire's customers. "Some of our customers are doing bio-chemical research while others have high dust concentrations that can create a spark and combustion potential.  The key to maintaining a safe workplace, is being able to notify instantly about internal safety issues or external issues such as tornados," he said.

Mark Kurtzrock, President and CEO of Metis Secure said, "Starfire Automatic Gates & Security is an exciting growth company, one that we are eager to partner with. Together we can delivery a superior solution to the southeastern market with an outstanding level of service and confidence."
